MHT Inspextor Node 90 supports both RS485 and 0-10V sensors. This include the NS311 Thermal Occupancy sensor which has a primary RS485 data interface but also a programmable 0-10V analog output. In this manner Inspextor Server can log the primary data for high level planning and action. And the Node 90 can act locally using the 0-10V signal.
Below is a diagram showing the NS311 Occupancy sensor connect the the RS485 side connector of the Node 90. This provides both 24V DC power to the sensor and interface for primary data. Secondly the 0-10V analog output from the sensor is connect to the Controls port of the Node 90. This signal can be used like other occupancy sensors to drive the two DC loads connected to the Node 90 outputs.
The Node 90 offers versatile output options. Loads can be driven directly via the spring terminal, or, for RS485 sensor connections, the channel output RJ45 connectors can be utilized. When using the RJ45 connectors for RS485 sensors, ensure the output voltage is configured to meet the sensor's specific power requirements. The NS311's wide 5-60Vdc input range provides flexibility in setting the appropriate voltage, and a 24V supply is a common and suitable choice.
